Welcome to the Prince Vladimir Youth Association, Michigan Chapter! Our mission is to bring Orthodox youth together by means of missionary work, service in the name of the Church, and common social activities.
The Prince Vladimir Youth Association of Michigan is a chapter of the greater Prince Vladimir Youth Association International. Our focus is the age group 18-25+/-. This group is often overlooked by the Church - but we aim to invest in this group!
The Michigan chapter of PVYA was founded on January 15, 2023, when Fr. Andrei Sommer visited our Ann Arbor parish for a deanery-wide youth gathering. At that gathering the young people produced nine discreet podcasts covering the various participants' views on the college experience from an Orthodox Christian point of view.
